Cohort Description
We know we’re called to be witnesses to Christ in everyday life, but how? How do you start the conversation? How do you transition everyday topics to gospel opportunities in a way that isn’t awkward or forced? What if you say something wrong?
We all need help with evangelism.
This online learning cohort will offer a broad and practical overview of how Christians can find and create opportunities for gospel proclamation. Drawing from seasoned evangelist and pastor Glen Scrivener’s book How to See Life, this course will equip you to communicate a Christ-centered view of God (and his three-ness), the world (and its two-ness), and you (and your one-ness). This simple method (“3-2-1”) will help you learn a gospel presentation for use in personal witness, but it will also thoroughly ground your personal evangelism theologically. What’s more, this isn’t an exercise merely for individuals. This course will offer how evangelism can be seen as the work of the whole church in its discipleship, care, and life.
Each session will address a core issue in how to share the gospel and give practical help along the way. With each lesson, Glen will also supply a “seed to scatter,” a practical sentence to use in conversation that can move conversations to proclamation. If you want to grow in your understanding of how to share the gospel in your everyday life, this cohort will equip you to faithfully witness to others and teach others to do the same. Ideal for individual Christians who need a hand or church groups wanting to grow in their ministry outreach.
